Chamber of Commerce hosts life sciences convention in San Diego

More than 40 guests attended the second Life Sciences Opportunity Meet-Up organized by the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce Southern California (SACCSoCal) in San Diego, further details of which can be found in a LinkedIn post. During the event hosted by HomeLab on the San Diego campus of the University of California, experts delved deeper into the subject “Opportunities & Risks of the San Diego Life Science Industry”, with a particular emphasis on aspects including market outlook, venture capital and investment trends, in addition to conditions and requirements for inbound companies.
This aim of this “micro convention” was to bring together business leaders, industry experts, investors, government officials and thought leaders from both sides of the Atlantic in order to discuss the latest innovations and market trends in the life sciences and biotech industries in Southern California - and in the city of San Diego in particular – according to a press release issued by the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce.
