Switzerland a top destination from Pristina International Airport

Pristina - Pristina International Airport can look back on a record year. Throughout 2022, around 3 million travelers used the services of the airport serving Kosovo’s capital city. Switzerland is one of the top five destinations.

In 2022, more passengers than ever before travelled via Pristina International Airport. According to a press release, the number of passengers reached 2,994,560, which represents a year-on-year rise of about 37 percent. Overall, 21,842 flights were processed in a single year, marking an increase of around 21.28 percent on 2021.

The top five trending destinations in terms of the number of travelers flown to Pristina are Switzerland, Germany, Turkey, Austria and the United Kingdom. Other countries on the list are Sweden, Italy, Belgium, Norway and Finland.

Several airlines offer flights between Pristina and Switzerland. The airport figures reveal these include Swiss, Edelweiss, Helvetic, Chair Airlines, easyJet and TUfly. They fly to Zurich, Basel and Geneva. ssp
