SICC launches Spotlight on Swiss-Indian Business

The bilateral Swiss-Indian Chamber of Commerce promotes business exchange between Switzerland and India. It currently includes around 400 Swiss and Indian companies and is now launching the Spotlight on Swiss-Indian Business. This quarterly newsletter in English contains news on the activities of Swiss companies in India and business opportunities in India. The first edition was sent on May 23.

Spotlight on Swiss-Indian Business is the tenth newsletter on swisstrade.com. It is the first English news platform for the Swiss export industry and was launched in 2021 by the association swiss export, the news agency Café Europe, and T-LINK. It aims to increase the global visibility of Swiss export companies and improve communication from Swiss organizations in other countries. 

At the same time, Spotlight on Swiss-Indian Business is the first swisstrade.com newsletter to have been created with a Swiss Business Hub in collaboration with a bilateral chamber of commerce. The Swiss Business Hub India in Mumbai represents the official Swiss foreign trade promotion agency, Switzerland Global Enterprise, in India. 

India is expected to continue to grow in importance for Swiss foreign trade over the years to come. The European Free Trade Association (EFTA), which also includes Switzerland, is currently negotiating a free trade agreement with the country.

In Asia, the Swiss Business Council Dubai, SwissCham Hong Kong, and the Swiss Business Hub ASEAN also use swisstrade.com newsletters for their communications. The partners in North America include the Swiss Business Hub USA, SwissChams in Mexico and Western Canada, and the Swiss Forum Los Angeles as well as for Europe the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland Central Europe (SEC). ce/red
