Stäfa - Beaconsmind has gained one of India’s fastest-growing coffee house chains as a client. It is planning to connect its app, which is already being used by tens of thousands of registered users, with the beaconsmind platform for location-based marketing services.

An unnamed Indian coffee house chain has opted for the software solution developed by the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) firm beaconsmind to boost its location-based marketing (LBM) activities. The company operates cafés in a total of 10 cities across India and is planning to increase its network to around 300 shops in 20 different cities, further details of which can be found in a press release issued by the company based in Stäfa in the canton of Zurich. The coffee house chain’s app is already being used by tens of thousands of registered users.

“India is one of the growth regions defined by us for beaconsmind”, comments Max Weiland, CEO of beaconsmind, in the press release. “We are looking forward to accompanying one of the fastest growing coffee house chains on their growth path”, he adds. According to the information, retailers in India are currently investing heavily in new technologies and shop infrastructures. As such, experts are forecasting that the retail market volume will grow to around 1.5 trillion US dollars by 2030. “For us, this results in highly attractive growth opportunities in the field of LBM solutions”, Weiland concludes.

As detailed in the press release, by connecting its proprietary app with the beaconsmind software suite, the Indian firm will be able to tap into new, individualized marketing and communications channels, for example in the form of personalized offers or loyalty and subscription programs. In addition, coffee, roasting supplies and merchandise can be purchased via the app, while loyalty cards can be reloaded to make payments and events can also be booked. mm
