Langenthal - Création Baumann is presenting special textiles with acoustic efficacy as a room zoning solution. The Lord and Kent fabrics used are made entirely at the company’s own factory in Langenthal.

Création Baumann, a textile company based in Langenthal in the canton of Bern, produces textile solutions for room zoning. According to a press release, the two fabrics available for curtains to separate a space into multifunctional areas, Lord and Kent, are made entirely at the company’s own factory in Langenthal. The press release states that as a global leader in the market of textile acoustic solutions, Création Baumann relies on sustainable production in Switzerland.

Eliane Ernst, Product Manager at Création Baumann, commented: “Above all, modern offices need to be flexible and multifunctional. Textiles as temporary room dividers are the perfect solution for changing environments quickly and easily, both visually and acoustically.”

Lord is described in the press release as a “classic” fabric that is manufactured entirely in Langenthal and boasts a sound absorption value of around 70%. This makes it ideal for acoustic zoning. Kent is a new addition to the fabric portfolio with a three-dimensional structure, a knitted appearance, and special volume. Like Lord, Kent is developed in Switzerland and is woven and dyed in Langenthal using 100% European yarns. This fabric meets all sustainable product quality requirements.

CEO of Création Baumann Philippe Baumann stated: “We are interested in the ever-changing challenges in architecture and interior design and our design teams are constantly working on textile innovations that are only possible thanks to the collaboration of all departments on site in Langenthal.” According to the press release, Création Bauman’s combination of Swiss design expertise and technological innovation sets new standards with the new acoustic fabrics. ce/gba
