Switzerland will be present at the 28th climate summit of the United Nations (COP28) in Dubai from November 30 to December 12 with numerous companies and kiosks in the Start-Up Village. According to an announcement from the trade fair logistics company T-Link, five kiosks are available for Swiss start-ups in the Green Zone each week. Another kiosk will offer space for a meeting point with presentations and aperitifs. The twelve-page flyer published by T-Link with detailed information on the global climate summit also mentions the option for Swiss companies to apply to participate in Dubai.

According to T-Link, the entire Swiss presence will be designed uniformly by Presence Switzerland, which is responsible for the country’s communication. This applies from the outside of the kiosk to the company graphics on the inside. It will be organized in collaboration with the ambassadorship, Presence Switzerland, and the Business Hub Middle East.

The Business Hub Middle East with headquarters in Dubai represents the official agency for international export and location promotion, Switzerland Global Enterprise. It is responsible for implementing Swiss export strategies in the Middle East as a part of the Consulate General of Switzerland in Dubai. Additionally, it is an important point of contact for small and medium-sized companies from Switzerland and Liechtenstein that are looking for export opportunities in the Middle East. ce/gba
