Bäch - For epeaswitzerland, 2023 again brought a whole host of international awards. The accredited assessor for Cradle to Cradle Certified certifications headed up by Albin Kälin claimed a total of 11 awards across the year as a whole.

As was the case in the previous year, in 2023 Albin Kälin again won a wide range of international awards and recognition both on a personal level and on behalf of his company epeaswitzerland, which he founded back in 2009. Kälin and his team claimed a total of 11 awards for their dedication and hard work towards establishing the circular economy, one more than in 2022.

Kälin was named Best CEO of the Year by the publications M&A Today Global Awards, Global 100, Corporate America Today and Lawyers International 100, while Acquisition International crowned him as the Best Specialist Cradle to Cradle Products & Services Provider in 2023. For the magazine Fortunes Crown, Kälin was named on the important list of the Most Innovative Technology Leaders to Watch in 2023.

At the Global Sustainability & ESG Awards 2023 from The European, Kälin was named Best CEO in the Textile Manufacturing Industry. Other awards for Kälin and epeaswitzerland include Most Innovative CEO of the Year and Leader of the Year, the latter of which was voted for by the magazine CEO Today Europe.

A total of six awards have already been announced for 2024. These include one from Corporate America Today, where Albin Kälin made the list of top managers in Europe as Best CEO of the Year with his company epeaswitzerland.

As the CEO of epeaswitzerland, which is based in Bäch in the canton of Schwyz, Kälin is an accredited assessor for the Cradle to Cradle Certified certification standard. Cradle to Cradle is a principle of the circular economy and epeaswitzerland has supported numerous companies in their efforts to implement relevant measures. Kälin is set to release a new book in the spring of 2024, in which he uses examples to demonstrate how companies can successfully transition in the direction of the circular economy. ce/gba
