Oftringen - Aveniq from the canton of Aargau is opening a branch in the Romanian city of Cluj. Staff working there will be experts in the fields of applications and managed services, in particular. They will be supporting employees of the IT service provider in Switzerland.

Aveniq AG is opening a branch in Romania. The new offices in Cluj will be home to experts in the areas of applications and managed services, as the provider from Oftringen specializing in IT services reported in a press release. As a result, Aveniq hopes to counter the skills shortage and develop its capacities with qualified employees to meet rising demand.

The new specialists in Romania will be assisting Aveniq’s Swiss staff with their work. All existing company positions in Switzerland will remain, with no outsourcing or redundancies planned. The recruitment of specialists in Switzerland “continues to be a top priority for Aveniq”.

For the 2022 financial year, Aveniq reports a sales increase of 9 million Swiss francs on the figure for 2021. Aveniq is therefore cementing its position as a leading IT provider on the Swiss market. “We once again achieved a strong financial result and good market performance,” commented Aveniq’s CEO Christophe Macherel.

In the current financial year, the company intends to focus on further developing its services for modern workplaces and industry-specific solutions. As an example, the press release mentions the software for automatic creepage and clearance analysis AutoCrear. It will also expand its cybersecurity and sustainability service offering. hs
