Bühler and Premier Tech bring bagging station to market

Uzwil/Rivière-du-Loup/Wuxi - Bühler is bringing the fully automated bagging station Chronos OMP-2090 B to market together with the Canadian packaging manufacturer Premier Tech. The system created for powdered products aims to increase overall mill efficiency.

Bühler and Premier Tech have announced the market launch of their fully automated bagging station Chronos OMP-2090 B in a press release. Marco Chialina, Head of Business Unit Digital Sense at Bühler, commented in the press release that the bagging station aims to increase operational safety and precision in mills and thus overall efficiency. Bühler is based in Uzwil in the canton of St.Gallen and specializes in food processing systems and the construction of vehicle parts. Premier Tech with headquarters in Rivière-du-Loup in the Canadian province of Quebec has contributed its knowledge in the area of packaging machine manufacturing throughout development. 

The Chronos OMP-2090 B bagging station is designed for powdered products such as flour. Alexis Michaud, Partner Relations Director at Premier Tech Systems and Automation, stated that the company’s dedication to quality and innovation “ensures that businesses in emerging markets have access to the automation level they need to compete.” The bag opening system aims to ensure maximum efficiency and reliable operation. Dosing and weighing technology and intelligent controls are intended to lead to high bagging accuracy. 

According to the press release, the system has a capacity of up to 900 bags holding 25 kg per hour. The process, hygiene, and safety standards are said to lead to increased mill profitability. In 2020, Bühler and Premier Tech established a subsidiary for cheap packaging solutions in the Chinese city of Wuxi. This delivers to the world’s food and feed markets. ce/js
