Cham/Winterthur - Ibexus connects conventional Web2 ERP platforms with the OpenWeb, thereby creating new opportunities to automate business processes. The business platform will be showcased on the Zurich University of Applied Sciences stand at the GITEX trade fair in Dubai.

The Ibexus platform makes the OpenWeb accessible to Enterprise users. The seamless connection between the two worlds enables maximum efficiency gains for modern business processes, according to a press release. Ibexus was developed by Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) and Blueocean IMPACT AG. The press release says that the platform will be presented on the ZHAW stand at the GITEX GLOBAL trade fair, which will take place from October 16 to 20 in Dubai. Pilot implementations will be used to show how the new platform works.

According to the press release issued by Ibexus, which is headquartered in Cham in the canton of Zug, companies that want to use blockchain technologies for their processes now face major challenges. In addition, they often lack access to the required specialists, expertise and technology that connects Web2 with Web3 (OpenWeb).

The central idea of the development was to allow customers to bring their existing processes directly into Ibexus, without the need for internal reconfiguration and with minimal integration effort. This gives Enterprise users access to OpenWeb, with maximum efficiency gains for modern business processes. Ibexus is an OpenWeb-enabling platform and, in the same way as the Apple Store or Amazon AWS, makes it possible to implement any conceivable application along a value chain.

The press release explains that companies can use the Ibexus platform to develop their own OpenWeb environment based on their existing IT infrastructure. This solves real problems and makes it easy to implement new, impactful business models. ce/gba
