Chur - CalandaAir has developed a prototype of a smart, portable monitor for indoor air quality in the form of the ARVE SENSE Hub. The company, which specializes in monitoring systems of this kind, is set to present its development at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week and is planning a market launch in the third quarter of 2024.

CalandaAir will be present at Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (April 16-18), during which it will be showcasing its products for air quality management. In the words of Hamed Arian, Head of Marketing, CalandaAir’s monitoring systems allow users to “take control of the air indoors and breathe easier”.

In August last year, CalandaAir, which is based in Chur in the canton of Graubünden and was only officially founded a few months beforehand, launched the ARVE Sense Pro. According to the company, the smart system for monitoring air quality in offices, schools, hotels and homes delivers accurate data on various air pollutants in real time on the basis of its technology and sensors. Its Swiss Air Autopilot system is designed to facilitate informed decisions that lead to the creation of healthier living and working environments.

Alongside the ARVE SENSE Pro, CalandaAir will also be presenting a prototype in Abu Dhabi, namely of the ARVE SENSE Hub. The smart, portable air quality monitor is designed to detect various harmful particles in the air, in addition to enabling users to sensitively modulate their indoor climate. With WiFi 6, Zigbee and Matter connectivity, a high-resolution touch display and an app, the ARVE SENSE Hub monitors aspects such as temperature, humidity and air pressure as well. The company is planning a market launch of the product in the third quarter of 2024. ce/mm
