csky.ai enabling secure transcription services

With the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI), csky.ai is seeking to hugely simplify the process of transcribing confidential conversations. The AI assistant ClearMind functions in the manner of a smart microphone that is able to convert the content of confidential conversations into structured, secure and compliant data in real time, further details of which can be found in a press release. In so doing, ClearMind guarantees the highest level of data protection. In particular, it avoids the risks associated with data transmission processes to cloud-based AI services. The solution works on the basis of an edge AI approach that combines AI and edge computing, with the data being processed directly at the source. In this way, the AI is empowered to make decisions faster without being connected to a cloud server.

The start-up csky.ai was founded in spring 2023 by Hugo Flayac and Stefano Zamuner in connection with the Innovation Park affiliated with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). It focuses on healthcare applications where confidentiality is a priority – such as psychiatric consultations in private clinics. The start-up estimates that the AI assistant could help to save around 50,000 Swiss francs per medical professional per year.

Rapid growth at both national and international level is the aim of csky.ai. The start-up is presenting its solution at GITEX GLOBAL, a technology trade fair taking place October 16-20 in Dubai. ce/yvh
