Basel/Zurich/Bangkok - Zurich-based trading company DKSH has signed a distribution agreement with Syngenta in Thailand. This will mean Syngenta’s livestock products can be marketed more effectively in the South East Asian country.

Trading company DKSH, which is headquartered in Zurich, has agreed a new partnership with Basel-based agriculture-tech company Syngenta in Thailand. According to a press release, under the terms of the agreement DKSH will provide business development, marketing, sales, logistics and distribution services for Syngenta’s livestock products.

Syngenta’s portfolio of livestock products will now be available beyond the traditional agricultural channels and into the growing Thailand livestock market, via DKSH’s extensive distribution network. This will benefit farmers, vets and animal owners across the country.

“By teaming up with DKSH, we gain a valuable ally to distribute our livestock products efficiently and reach even more customers who can benefit from our expertise,” says Kluaymai Nuchniyom, Managing Director of Syngenta Crop Protection in Thailand. She adds that Syngenta is “dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture and advancing the animal health sector now.”

Mathias Greger, Managing Director, Business Unit Performance Materials at DKSH in Thailand, says the agreement is “a significant milestone in our journey to better serve our valued customers in the livestock, poultry, and swine industry.” The partnership will also contribute to Thailand’s economic development. ce/gba
