FISBA increasingly aims its optics at aerospace and defense

St.Gallen - FISBA is increasingly committed to the further development of its optical technologies for aerospace and defense applications. By doing so, the international group with roots in life science and endoscopy also plans to further develop its position in these sectors.

FISBA is increasing its focus on reliable solutions for various applications in aerospace and defense, including high-resolution imaging and navigation. The international group is building on more than 60 years of experience and its roots in the manufacturing of precision microoptics for the life science sector, endoscopy, and industrial applications to do so.

According to a press release from the photonics specialist, the fact that it is presenting more at important trade fairs for the aerospace industry such as ILA Berlin (June 5-9, 2024) underlines its ongoing innovations and abilities. Its offering comprises microlenses measuring just 0.3 millimeters, complex flat optics, complex optical assemblies, imaging systems, laser modules, and innovative optical coatings.

The company was established in 1957 and has headquarters in St.Gallen with subsidiaries in Germany, China, and the USA. In total, FISBA AG has more than 300 employees. Its series-manufactured optical components, systems, and microsystems are sold across the world. ce/mm
