The watch manufacturer Franck Muller is building the Aeternitas Tower in the Dubai Marina district of Dubai in partnership with the real estate development firm London Gate. The two companies have now officially unveiled their plans for this project. The name of the building is inspired by the watch collection of the same name from Franck Muller. At 450 meters high, the sleek skyscraper is set to be the tallest branded residence in the world, further details of which can be found in a press release issued by Franck Muller.
The building is crowned by a clockface, complete with dial and hands, measuring 40 meters in height and 30 meters across. According to Tom Hill, London Gate’s media spokesman, it will be possible to see the clockface from six kilometers away. As a clock tower, it is only surpassed by the Fairmont Makkah Clock Royal Tower in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The ultra-luxurious brand residence, which has also been showcased by London Gate in a video, will offer a total of 649 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, in addition to a cinema, swimming pool, yoga studio and library, as well as spaces dedicated to the arts and culture, among other aspects.
This is the first branded residential project for Franck Muller. “With this partnership, we aim to reinstate the standards of sophistication and elegance, creating a living experience that reflects the brand values and vision of both London Gate and Franck Muller”, comments Eman Taha, CEO of London Gate, in the press release issued by Franck Muller.
According to Erol Baliyan, Managing Director of Franck Muller MEA, the Geneva-based firm is keen to bring its brand values to the world of real estate: “We are excited to introduce a record-breaking legacy for Franck Muller – which is slated to be the first of many iconic ventures that will unfold globally”. ce/mm
