Zurich/Freienbach - The Hashgraph Association, a non-profit organization, will in future be supporting innovative DeepTech enterprises as well as their founders in conjunction with Trust Square. After the opening of the first co-working space in Zurich, further hubs are in the pipeline around the world. The Saudi Arabian capital of Riyadh is next in line in the near future.

The Hashgraph Association (THA) from the canton of Schwyz and the Zurich-based Trust Square have announced a strategic partnership. According to a press release, this will aim to offer entrepreneurs and businesses all of the facilities, tools and technologies required in order to develop “game-changing DeepTech solutions, leveraging the convergence of AI, blockchain/DLT, robotics, IoT, VR and quantum computing”.

An initial result of this partnership is the opening of the Trust Square Coworking Innovation Space in the Brannhof on Bahnhofstrasse in the center of Zurich. In addition to space, the partnership will, as the press release explains, offer leading-edge technologies such as the DLT network from Hedera, as well as opportunities to connect corporates, start-ups, technology and service providers, and the joint detection and validation of use cases.

Marc Degen, co-founder and Chairman of Trust Square, talks of an “exciting opportunity” for start-ups and businesses across Switzerland: “Trust Square has found a kindred soul in THA: We both are driven to connect entrepreneurs, corporates, investors and academics and allow them to pursue their visions in an open and diverse environment”.

The partners have drawn up plans to establish a series of hubs around the world. In the words of Kamal Youssefi, THA President, the aim here would be to link Switzerland with the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific regions: “We will soon be launching our DeepTech Venture Studio in Saudi Arabia through Trust Square Riyadh, following our strategic partnership recently signed with the Saudi Ministry of Investment”. ce/mm
