HSLU offering advanced IT training in English

Rotkreuz - The School of Computer Science and Information Technology at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) is now offering advanced IT training courses in English. These can also be completed online. Undergraduate and masters programs are held on the new campus in Rotkreuz.

The School of Computer Science and Information Technology at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) is now offering advanced training for IT specialists in English. The courses focus on key disciplines in the field of IT and can be completed online, further details of which can be found in a press release issued by the university.

In addition to advanced training courses, the department also offers classic undergraduate and masters degree programs. Undergraduate courses can, for example, be completed in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning, business informatics or information and cybersecurity. For masters programs, the PhD students delve deeper into the areas of computer science and business informatics.

According to information from HSLU itself, it is the first Swiss university of applied sciences to have its own School of Computer Science and Information Technology. Since September 2019, classes have been held in the new buildings on the HSLU campus in the Suurstoffi district in Rotkreuz in the canton of Zug. The department cooperates with around 60 partner universities from abroad, the press release states.

The School of Computer Science and Information Technology at HSLU will be present at the GITEX GLOBAL trade fair, which is taking place October 16-20 in Dubai. ce/ssp
