Kristian Kabashi wins swissalbs business award

Kristian Kabashi is the winner of the business award 2023 from swissalbs, the umbrella organization for the Swiss-Albanian community. The jury formed of BRACK.CH Founder Roland Brack, FDP National Councillor Andri Silberschmidt, and elleXX Co-Founder Nadine Jürgensen decided on the co-founder and board member of the fintech startup Numarics based in Baar in the canton of Zug. The award ceremony took place at swissalbs’ sold-out entrepreneur ball at Kongresshaus Zürich.
Numarics provides an app that fully covers business management for small and medium-sized enterprises. According to a press release from swissalbs, the company combines human expertise with technology and artificial intelligence to offer its clients a comprehensive range of various services.
The main investor since the latest funding round is UBS. The major bank is also planning a strategic partnership with Numarics. According to UBS: “The planned strategic partnership with Numarics is another important milestone in the development of new and integrated offerings and the expansion of the UBS ecosystem for SMEs. The offerings aim to go beyond traditional banking and help SMEs manage their day-to-day business efficiently.”
In his acceptance speech, Kabashi highlighted that this award is not only recognition of the current work at Numarics but also confirmation that financial services can be newly designed in an innovative way. He added that he shares this success with his committed team. ce/mm
