Zurich/Ho Chi Minh City - DKSH Vietnam has been named as the winner of the HR Asia Award for the fourth year in a row. This award for effective personnel management serves as recognition that the services and trading group is the best employer in Asia.

DKSH Vietnam has won the HR Asia - Best Company to Work for in Asia award for the fourth time. The listed services and trading group DKSH, which is headquartered in Zurich, has therefore been recognized for having created a workplace of excellence and engagement for its employees, further details of which can be found in a press release.

Accordingly, personnel development is part and parcel of the sustainability strategy at DKSH. Under the motto “Enable Our People to Flourish”, the company offers training and practical support through the Fantree Academy, which is the company’s very own learning and development center. On average, DKSH employees spend 17 hours per month on further training exercises.

Furthermore, DKSH is committed to values such as diversity, equality and inclusivity. The company anchors these values in its formal policies and training frameworks, as well as in its approach to day-to-day management and hiring practices. In fact, women make up 56 percent of managers at the company. Moreover, the company boasts a “good mix of generations”, according to the press release.

Regular surveys create a culture of high engagement and performance, the press release explains. In so doing, the HR department is able to gather “valuable insights from employees, which allows the company to better listen to its employees and make timely improvements”, the company writes. The overall aim is to create a working environment free from discrimination or harassment and shaped by values such as respect and dignity for fellow colleagues.

“As we strive to enrich people’s lives every day, we commit to enabling our people to flourish in the best working environment”, comments Pham Thi Thuy Van, Human Resources Director at DKSH Vietnam, in the press release. ce/ko
