LGT wins seven Euromoney Private Banking Awards

Vaduz - LGT has claimed a total of seven prizes at this year’s Euromoney Private Banking Awards. The industry magazine named LGT best private bank globally and in Western Europe. LGT additionally won another five awards in India and its domestic market of Liechtenstein.

At this year’s Euromoney Private Banking Awards, LGT claimed several awards once again. After being awarded five prizes by the industry magazine in the previous year, the international private banking and asset management group, which is under the ownership of the Princely Family of Liechtenstein, managed to bring home seven awards on this occasion. In terms of the global awards, LGT won in the category of family office services, further details of which can be found in a press release issued by LGT. In addition, LGT was named as the best private bank for family office services in the region of Western Europe.

“LGT places a strong emphasis on governance and connecting representatives of Family Offices. It has a unique selling proposition, coupled with a personalized, human-centric and long-term approach”, according to the assessment of the judging panel included in the press release.

In India, LGT received the award for best private bank for sustainability. “Alongside its own efforts to ensure its business and operations are sustainable, the firm offers clients an extensive range of sustainable investment funds, sustainability ratings and more specialist investment opportunities such as impact investing in India”, the judging panel explains. In its domestic market of Liechtenstein, LGT claimed four awards overall in the categories of best domestic private bank, best bank for UHNWIs (Ultra High-Net-Worth Individuals), best bank for family office services and best bank for sustainability. ce/hs
