QluPod is responding to calls from Brussels for more intense digitization of healthcare with its solutions based on hardware and software. According to a press release, the company located in the St.GallenBodenseeArea has noticed that many digitization processes are being skipped in the new EU member states in Eastern Europe in particular. In contrast, slow transformation is hindering old EU members from implementing EU decisions. Subsequently, QluPod is expanding above all in member states in the Balkans in order to improve healthcare.
The medtech company from the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden is particularly active in the field of telemedicine. According to the company’s own information, it provides cheap, innovative solutions to make patient care more effective. Its offering includes a digital monitoring device, a mobile app for iOS and Android, and software that enables telemedical health monitoring for illnesses such as diabetes.
QluPod is pleasantly surprised by the high demand at this still early time in its growth according to Head of the Board of Directors, Stephen Dando, in the press release. He adds: “This confirms that our efforts in the market are going in the right direction and that the commitment of our external advisors with the support from existing networks is the correct path forward.” ce/ww
