Stäubli expands in Southern California

The globally active Stäubli Group, which is headquartered in Pfäffikon in the canton of Schwyz, is now represented in Cypress, Southern California, after opening a new office there. “We see great value in this new facility in Cypress to expand the reach of our North American base, particularly in terms of training, spare parts availability as well as physical proximity to customers”, explains Jean-François Masbou, Managing Director Stäubli North America, in a press release. The CEO of the Stäubli Group, Gerald Vogt, was also in attendance during the official inauguration of the new office on March 6.

The Cypress office is part of the Stäubli Corporation based in Duncan in the US State of South Carolina. With this additional 5,500 square meter location, Stäubli is seeking to accelerate its growth trajectory in North America. It represents three business areas of the group: Electrical Connectors, Fluid Connectors and Robotics.

“The closeness to trade show centers is another important factor that makes Cypress an ideal location for Stäubli”, comments Ian Pratt, Managing Director North America in Windsor, California. “With the new office we can easily schedule extended meetings with a prospect from a trade show and hold additional events”, he adds. Moreover, the new office is located just 12-31 minutes’ drive from three separate airports, Stäubli explains. mm
