Swiss will again fly more frequently to selected long-haul destinations as part of its 2023-2024 winter flight schedule. According to a statement, the airline is doubling the number of flights to Miami, with an offering of up to 14 take-off dates per week.
Swiss will also be flying to the Chinese metropolis of Shanghai twice as often as in the summer timetable, or six times a week instead of three. Flights to Singapore will revert to a daily service, meaning one additional flight a week, while Egypt’s capital Cairo will also be served daily.
“Swiss is currently experiencing a lot of demand and a still strong desire to travel, despite all the economic and political uncertainties,” commented Chief Commercial Officer Tamur Goudarzi Pour. “We’re very pleased to be further expanding our range of long-haul services this coming winter, within the overall framework of our long-term network planning, to offer our customers an even more attractive choice of flight.”
The priority remains providing passengers with stable and reliable flight operations. There are a total of 21 long-haul destinations in the coming winter schedules. ce/mm
