Tunisia invites the world to attend the AGROBUSINESS MEDAFRICA 2023

The first agricultural trade fair for Africa’s Mediterranean region is set to take place November 16-18, 2023, in Hammamet, a tourist and conference city in Northern Tunisia, further details of which can be found in a press release. The AGROBUSINESS MEDAFRICA 2023 is being organized under the auspices of the Tunisian Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy by the French exhibition organizer PAIX together with the National Association of Food Industries UTICA and local organizations for the promotion and development of the food industry in Tunisia. The event will be hosted by La Medina Yasmine Hammamet, a facility that is a conference venue, museum city and leisure center all in one.
The aim of AGROBUSINESS MEDAFRICA 2023 is to present the range of agricultural and food products on offer in Tunisia as well as the potential for partnerships and exports, while start-ups and innovations are to be afforded a fair share of the spotlight too. In total, 250 exhibitors are expected to be in attendance at the event, while 3,500 trade visitors and delegations from European, African and Arabic business organizations will also be present. According to AGROBUSINESS MEDAFRICA 2023 itself, the focus of the trade fair will be on the sectors of oils & fats, cereals & derivatives, fruit & vegetables, milk & derivatives, sugar & derivatives, beverages, fish & meat, refrigeration equipment and control laboratories.
Three international forums and workshops will be organized in cooperation with the Tunisian government and organizations such as the African Union, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the European Union and the African Development Bank.
