Unterengstringen - WEYTEC has opened a new subsidiary in Dubai. From here, business relationships with customers and partners in the United Arab Emirates as well as across the Middle East and MENA region are to be cultivated and maintained.

WEY Technology (WEYTEC), an IT firm based in Unterengstringen in the canton of Zurich, is strengthening its presence across the Middle East and wider MENA (Middle East North Africa) region. According to a LinkedIn post, a new subsidiary was opened in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on December 7. In the UAE, WEYTEC operates as WEY Technology FZ LLC and is headquartered in the 28-story Al Thuraya Tower 1 in Dubai. The subsidiary will be tasked with maintaining business relationships with customers and partners in the UAE as well as across the Middle East and the MENA region in order to strengthen WEYTEC’s market position and footprint.

Markus Bütler, Managing Director of WEY Technology FZ LLC, expresses his great pride that WEYTEC is now represented with its own office in Dubai, which he describes in a press release as “one of the most attractive cities for various companies in the UAE”. He adds: “Our customers and partners will benefit from improved services, quality, efficiency and technological advances as we invest in this region for the long term”.  The opening of the Dubai-based subsidiary represents more than just strategic growth. In fact, according to Bütler, it serves to underline “our commitment to the region and the entire Middle East and MENA market”.

Wissam Farhat, Regional Sales Director Middle East, sees the additional international competence center as a major step in the direction of achieving the company’s long-term strategic goals.

Founded by Hubert Wey in 1984, WEY Technology is based in Unterengstringen in the canton of Zurich, but operates on a global level. WEYTEC solutions transmit, control, distribute and display real-time data in trading rooms and control centers. ce/gba
