Swiss Business Hub brings Swiss-Canadian business news to you

The Swiss Business Hub Canada advises and supports small and medium-sized enterprises from Switzerland and Liechtenstein wishing to explore and seize export opportunities in the Canadian market. The Canadian market is stable, mature and offers opportunities in many sectors such as cleantech, life sciences, medtech, infrastructure, consumer goods and e-commerce. In cooperation with its local partners, the Swiss Business Hub Canada offers a wide range of trade promotion services, ranging from market analysis to business partner search and business trips to support in the target market and trade fair presence.

A second crucial mandate of the Swiss Business Hub Canada is to support Canadian enterprises seeking European expansion. Switzerland, with its business friendly environment, progressive regulatory policies and diverse talent pool is an ideal location for Canadian companies to access the larger European market. Many life science, financial services, engineering and technology- enabled companies manage their European business and conduct R&D in Switzerland

In this spirit, the Swiss Business Canada is now also joining forces with swisstrade.com. The news platform was developed by the association swiss export in conjunction with the Winterthur-based news agency Café Europe and the logistics experts T-LINK. The platform aims to increase the visibility of export-oriented Swiss firms around the world, while at the same time reporting on the foreign business activities of Swiss companies for a domestic audience.

The partners are now jointly launching the “Spotlight on Swiss Canadian Business”. The newsletter will land in the inboxes of registered partners and friends of the Swiss Business Hubs, in addition to other interested parties, every third month. It will contain news articles covering Swiss companies and Switzerland as a business location of interest to business professionals located in Canada and across the wider region.

The “Spotlight on Swiss Canadian Business” is the second regionalized newsletter of its kind in Canada, the fifth in North America and the ninth worldwide. Beginning in 2021, the Swiss-Canadian Chamber of Commerce Western Canada, the Swiss Business Hub USA, the Swiss Forum Los Angeles, the Swiss-Mexican Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Joint Chambers of Commerce covering Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Southern Caucasus and the Chamber of Commerce Switzerland – Central Europe as well as the Swiss Business Councils in the UAE and the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong have started to use swisstrade.com to produce their own newsletters.
