Chinese battery company lists on SIX Swiss Exchange

Zurich/Hangzhou - Zhejiang HangKe Technology Incorporated Company listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange on February 22. This makes the lithium-ion battery manufacturer located in Hangzhou, China, the first company to place global depository receipts on the Swiss stock exchange this year.

The SIX Swiss Exchange has recorded further growth from China: according to a press release from SIX, Zhejiang HangKe Technology Incorporated Company is the first company to list its global depository receipts (GDRs) on Switzerland’s main stock exchange this year.

The offer price was 13.69 US dollars per GDR. This means that one GDR corresponds to two A shares in the company. These A shares are being traded on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Zhejiang HangKe Technology Incorporated Company has achieved gross proceeds from the GDR offering of 172.85 million US dollars.

The international group was founded in 1984 and is located in Hangzhou. According to the information provided, it operates in the fields of lithium-ion battery design, research and development, production, sales, and services. Information provided by the company states that it employs 4,500 members of staff, 1,000 of whom are involved in research and development, and has a production area spanning more than 650,000 square meters. mm
