Lantal has received a major contract from Lufthansa. Together with designers at the airline, the textile manufacturer based in Langenthal in the canton of Bern will provide the premium textile products for the first and business class environment of the new Allegris cabins, as was reported in a press release on LinkedIn. In particular, Lantal will supply seat fabrics and cabin wall hangings. For this contract, Lantal can draw on its experience of kitting out the cabins of Finnair in the same segment last year.
The high level of comfort will above all make long-haul flights a more enjoyable travel experience. Each seat can be individually cooled or heated as desired and provides direct access to the aisle. Details such as the individually adjustable lighting and the 10-inch tablet for controlling all seat, lighting and entertainment functions ensure the right atmosphere on board. The seat shells are at least 114 cm high and all seats have a discreet screen for more privacy, which is ideal for working.
Lantal was founded in 1886 and currently has over 400 employees worldwide. The textile manufacturer has been working with the airline industry for over 60 years. eb
