Benninger enters into partnership in Thailand

Benninger AG from Uzwil in the canton of St.Gallen has agreed a partnership with Union Thailand Engineering (1977) Co., Ltd, which is based in the Thai capital of Bangkok. According to a press release, Union Thailand Engineering will be responsible for representing the entire Benninger product portfolio in the local market.

Benninger develops and produces machines and systems for textile finishing processes and the production of tire cord. According to the company, its experience in the automation of machinery is also put to good use in other industrial sectors. The company is part of Jakob Müller Holding based in Frick in the canton of Aargau and maintains branches and service stations of its own around the world.

Benninger writes in the press release that Union Thailand Engineering is “an experienced and longstanding partner of the Thai textile industry” and operates a local office. With this Thailand-based partnership, Benninger is pursuing a strategy based on working directly with partners in key textiles markets. ce/ssp
