Adams Schweiz AG has developed, constructed and delivered three oversized turbine butterfly valves for a power plant located on the Western Seaboard of the USA. These are to be installed at the hydroelectric power plant linked to the Round Butte Dam, which is situated near to Madras, Oregon.
According to a press release issued by the family company from Serneus in the canton of Graubünden, it took around two years for the planning, construction, manufacturing and then delivery of the valves to Portland General Electric, a public utility based in Portland.
